1 March, 2011 Legion Announces Flag Rewards Program  The
American Legion has developed what it calls the "Flag Rewards
Program," allowing American Legion Posts the opportunity to earn
money for flag sales in their respective communities.
Posts will earn .10 cents for each $1 spent on American flags
from American Legion Emblem Sales. The credit can be used
on future Emblem Sales purchases. Flags purchased by
neighbors or local businesses can count towards the post's
reward. Direct purchases from Emblem sales can still be
credited to the post. Every flag flown in the community
can benefit the post financially...that's a lot of flags!
Flags are available locally as well as through Emblem Sales. Contact 308-216-1130 if you would like to order a flag from Shelton Post 297. Several sizes are available.
